FS Enterprises LLC – App Privacy Policy

FS Enterprises LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application (“the App”) collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use the App to inquire about a book or optionally subscribe to quarterly updates.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number (optional)

No other personal data is collected by the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for the following purposes:

  • To send an email inquiry about a book using the Gmail API on your behalf.
  • To send quarterly update emails, but only if you explicitly opt in.

We do not use your information for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purposes.

3. Data Storage and Retention

If you do not opt in to quarterly updates, your name and email are not stored after your inquiry email is sent.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties. Your data is not transferred to or disclosed to any external organisations, advertisers, or data brokers.

The app uses the Google Gmail API solely to send emails that you initiate (book inquiries and optional online link delivery). Your Google user data (limited to the ability to send email on your behalf via the gmail.send scope) is not shared with, transferred to, or disclosed to any third party. No Google user data is used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than sending the specific email you requested.

The app’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Protection and Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information:

  • OAuth 2.0 authentication tokens are stored in the device’s secure Keychain, which is hardware-encrypted and inaccessible to other applications.
  • All communication with the Gmail API occurs over HTTPS (TLS-encrypted connections).
  • The app requests only the minimum OAuth scope required (gmail.send) and cannot read, modify, or delete your emails, contacts, or any other Google account data.
  • Personal information entered in the app (name, email, phone) is used only for the immediate email transaction and is not persisted to any external server or database.
  • Newsletter subscriber information, if opted in, is stored securely and can be deleted upon request.
  • The app does not transmit personal data to any server other than Google’s Gmail API for the sole purpose of sending the email you initiated.
